Valentine’s Day – The only holiday that is met with so much love and yet, so much hate. Let’s face it, you either love the holiday or hate it. I, for one, have always loved the holiday. A time to celebrate those you love and love itself. When it comes to romance, I’m about as girly as they come. I love fresh flowers, jewelry, Hallmark cards, any and all chick flicks and candle-lit dinners. I’m not going to lie, I’ve had my share of not-so-fun Valentine’s Days due to periods of singleness, bad dates, or poor expectations on my part. But despite all of that, I am blessed to get to spend this Valentine’s Day with my husband and little men. Who will you be spending Valentine’s Day with? A Spouse? Special Someone? Siblings? Parents? Friends?
How about your food allergic child? What will you be doing special today for them? Did you have the food allergy safety chat with them before sending them off to school? Did you remember to pack their EpiPens? My prayers for your family today is that you know how much you are loved and that your food allergic child(s) remains healthy, safe and reaction free today.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~John 3:16
Here are some of the yummy Allergy-Free Valentine’s Day Treats that I’ve made for my little men. Hope they help to make today special for your family, too!
